Menu for the Cooking Class:

Pakora (Spiced Fritters)
Pakoras are a favorite snack in India. Your favorite vegetables are dipped in a spicy batter and deep fried to make fabulous fritters. In this class, we will learn potato, onion pakoras. (Vegan – Gluten Free)

Chicken Curry
This is a very simple yet delicious Indian dish with flavors of fresh tomatoes and a special spice blend.

Cumin Rice

Beetroot Raita (yogurt dip)
Beetroot raita, a popular Indian style simple Dip made from beetroot and curd (plain yogurt) is a perfect accompaniment for any meal.

About the Host

Born and brought up in a Himalayan State in India, Babita learned to cook from her mom. Having traveled extensively, she experienced uniqueness of cooking methods and spices of various cultures. For over 15 years, she has been making balanced, nutritious, seasonal cuisine with natural and robust flavors.

She is the founder of BeBe’s Kitchen – a women-run social enterprise that supports aspiring refugee and immigrant chefs through immersive culinary experiences that go beyond food.
