Mariam taught this vegetable pâté with spinach and walnuts instead of the traditional use of different types of leaves, including nettles, cabbage and beetroot.

Lobio
This is Georgia’s national dish and Lobio nigvzit is its most common version. It is a thick soup made with red beans, onions and walnuts.

MChadi
This very popular cornbread is traditionally eaten with Lobio and cheese.
